PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a stretchable sheet and an absorbent article capable of highly efficiently manufacturing a high-quality stretchable sheet that includes two mutually-facing sheets and a plurality of elastic member fixed between both sheet in a stretched state, and a manufacturing apparatus.SOLUTION: At least one cutting projection 55 for cutting an elastic member of a stretchable sheet is disposed at an area 50B corresponding to a non-stretchable area, on a peripheral surface of a processing roll on an extension line of a sealing projection 54 in a rotary shaft direction CD.
