The invention relates to a dosage form that is safeguarded from abuse. Inaddition to one or more active substances that could be subject to abuse, saidform comprises two or more of the following constituents (a)-(d): (a) at leastone substance that irritates the nasal and/or pharyngeal region； (b) at leastone agent that increases viscosity, which forms a gel in an extract that isobtained from the dosage form with the aid of a required minimum quantity ofan aqueous liquid, whereby the gel can still be visibly differentiated afterbeing introduced into an additional quantity of an aqueous liquid, (c) atleast one antagonist for the active substance or substances that could besubject to abuse, (d) at least one emetic.
