Offenbart wird ein elektrochirurgisches Instrument (10) zur Herstellung einer End-zu-End-Anastomose zwischen zwei Hohlorganabschnitten (12), mit zwei relativ zueinander bewegbaren Werkzeugen (16), die jeweils eine HF-Elektrode (24) aufweisen, mit welchen die Hohlorganabschnitte (12) miteinander fusioniert werden können. Erfindungsgemäß sind die beiden Werkzeuge (16) im Wesentlichen hülsenförmig ausgebildet oder zumindest in eine Hülsenform bringbar, so dass ein erstes Werkzeug (16A) einen ersten Hohlorganabschnitt (12A) und ein zweites Werkzeug (16B) einen zweiten Hohlorganabschnitt (12B) umschließen kann.
