The present invention addresses the issue of providing a volitizer capable of efficiently volatizing a volatile drug without being absorbed and retained inside the drug, having a simple structure, comprising a highly accurate indicator function, and having excellent aesthetics. This volatizer comprises a suction volatizing body and a vessel and is characterized by microrelief machining being performed on at least part of the surface of the suction volatizing body and by being arranged such that some of the suction volatizing body comes in contact with fluid housed inside the vessel.
