The invention relates to a device for treating the temporomandibular joint, comprising a pad (1) for resting against the occlusal surface of the molar on the left-hand side and a pad (1) for resting against the occlusal surface of the molar on the right-hand side, wherein the pads (1) are formed from a sleeve produced from a flexible material, said sleeve being filled with a fluid, and wherein the two pads (1) are interconnected via a tube (3) for fluid exchange. To improve the wearing comfort of the device, it is proposed in accordance with the invention for a wire (4) for stabilising a shape of the tube (3) to be provided in the tube (3).
