This invention relates to a variable type insect trap structure utilizing biological characteristics, particularly to a highly safe and effective structure of variable type insect trap. The structure mainly comprises a light emitting module disposed inside a main shell, the light emitting module has at least a variable light source device, and an adhesive piece for catching insects corresponding to the variable light source device is disposed on the main shell. Also, disposed on the main shell is a control circuit module capable of modulating color and wavelength of the variable light source device.
