PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve cleaning function such as sterilization and deodorization by dispersively feeding ozone on the upstream side of a catalyst filter while preventing diffusion of ozone within a room.
SOLUTION: The air cleaner 1 cleans air with the action of oxygen radicals generated when ozone passes through catalyst filters 20. The air cleaner 1 includes an intake 11 for taking air into the air cleaner 1, and an outlet 12 for feeding the air treated inside the air cleaner 1 to the interior again. The catalyst filters 20 for decomposing ozone are provided in air channels 15 and 16 formed in the intake 11 and the outlet 12, respectively, and a porous tube 25 is provided in the vicinity of the intake 11. The air cleaner also has an ozone generating mechanism 30 for feeding ozone into the porous tube 25.
