PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for skin external use which contains an epidermal growth factor (EGF), can inhibit the deterioration of the activity of EGF even at comparatively high temperatures, and furthermore can increase the activity of EGF.
SOLUTION: The composition for skin external use contains an EGF and an acrylic acid dimethyltaurine ammonium-vinylpyrrolidone copolymer.
