The invention relates, in the agricultural field, a seed carrier for controlling the density of seeds and optimizing the growth of plants. Sowing must respect, for each plant species, a seed density per unit area to optimize growth and harvest. The invention relates to a support consisting of a mixture of at least one biodegradable polymer on which are immobilized seeds of a plant, the seeds being bound to the textile support by a binder soluble in water. This textile support is intended to be put in the ground and thus brings a perfect control of the density of seeds. The textile support in the form of a strip or a thread is preferably formed of a nonwoven fabric made by mixing at least one biodegradable polymer, especially wool.L'invention concerne, dans le domaine agricole, un support de semence destiné à maitriser la densité de graines et optimiser la croissance des plantes. La semaison doit respecter, pour chaque espèce végétale, une densité de graines par unité de surface afin d'optimiser la croissance et la récolte. L'invention a pour objet un support constitué par mélange d'au moins un polymère biodégradable sur lequel sont immobilisées des graines d'un végétal, les graines étant liées au support textile par un liant soluble dans l'eau. Ce support textile est destiné à être mis en terre et apporte ainsi une parfaite maîtrise de la densité de graines. Le support textile sous forme d'une bande ou d'un fil est préférentiellement formé d'un textile non tissé réalisé par mélange d'au moins un polymère biodégradable, notamment de la laine.
