PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for loading mushroom are provided to fix a tray by stably and accurately pressing, and to move multiple heavy trays to a designated area at once. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for loading mushroom(100) comprises a tong supporting bar, a first ton part, a second tong part, a third tong part, a fourth tong part, and a tray sensor. The second tong part comprises an air cylinder connected with an air cylinder connection member. The tong supporting bar is coupled to a tong supporting bar mounting frame connected with a driving belt fastening unit. A driving motor is installed in one side of the upper part of the apparatus for loading mushroom. The driving motor is coupled with the driving belt fastening unit by a driving belt. A driving motor is installed in the opposite side of the driving motor. The driving motor is connected to a driving sprocket arranging in a coaxial line with a pinion by a chain. A longitudinal magnetic part is arranged in the outer surface of a tray(400) and a side guide rail parts are formed in each corner.
