PURPOSE: An antibacterial peptide and an antibacterial composition containing the same are provided to prevent easy destroy of the peptide by immunocytes in blood. CONSTITUTION: An antibacterial peptide has an amino acid of sequence number 1, Leu-Arg-Ile-Pro-Ser-Lys-Val-Asp-Ser-Ala. The peptide is obtained from a hydrolysate of milk cow lactoferrin. An antibacterial composition contains the peptides. The composition is manufactured in the form of an antibacterial agent, feed additive, food additive, cosmetic additive, or antiseptic.
