The invention relates to a sunscreen agenet with reduced textile discolouration. To be specific, the invention relates to a method for improving the washable performance of an organic oil-soluble UV-Alight filter agent and/or an organic oil-soluble broadband light filter agent from textiles, the textiles being discoloured by cosmetic preparations containing the UV-A light filter agent and/or thebroadband light filter agent. The method is characterized by including the step of adding oil which is in a liquid state at a room temperature to cosmestic preparations, the amount of adding being greater than the amount that is needed to dissolve the UV light filter agent in the oil at a room temperature.
