A positive airway pressure apparatus (100) is disclosed and includes a mask (1), a micro pump (2) and a processor (3). The mask (1) is fastened on a user's face and is spatially corresponding to an airway opening of the user, so as to form a closed space (11). The micro pump (2) is assembled with the cover and is in fluid communication with the exterior of the mask (1). The processor (3) transmits an actuation control signal to the micro pump (2) so as to actuate the micro pump (2). Consequently, air is transported into the closed space (11) from the exterior of the mask (1), and a positive pressure airflow is formed and flows into the airway of the user. A pressure sensor (4) is disposed within the closed space (11) to detect the pressure of the closed space (11), so that the processor (3) can determine the respiratory state of the user and control the air pressure output of the micro pump (2) correspondingly.
