PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antiallergic composition derived from fig, which is highly safe and can be continuously used, and a method for producing the same.
SOLUTION: The antiallergic composition comprises, as an antiallergic active ingredient, a component extracted from a Ficus spp. plant using an extraction solvent. The method for producing the antiallergic composition comprises: a heat treatment A of steaming the Ficus spp. plant a rolling treatment B of rolling the heat-treated plant a drying treatment C of drying the rolling-treated plant and an extraction treatment D of adding hot water as the extraction solvent to the dried plant, thereby obtaining the extracted composition containing the antiallergic active ingredient.
