Provided is a balloon wrapping machine that is capable of precisely positioning and inserting a balloon into a pleating unit or a folding unit. The balloon wrapping machine wraps a balloon (52) that is provided on a distal end portion of an elongated shaft (51), and includes: a pleating unit (2) that forms pleats on the balloon (52)； a folding unit (3) that circumferentially folds the pleats formed on the balloon (52)； and a support (4) that supports the shaft (51) and is capable of moving toward and away from the pleating unit (2). The pleating unit (2) has an insertion hole (10a) into which the balloon (52) can be inserted and a rear face hole (11a) that is provided on a rear face opposite the side on which the insertion hole (10a) is provided. The pleating unit (2) also has an auxiliary shaft (81) that can be inserted into the rear face hole (11a) from the rear face side and a connecting part (82) that connects the auxiliary shaft (81) to the support (4).
