The present invention relates to an instant rice producing apparatus and an instant rice producing method and, more specifically, to an instant rice producing apparatus and an instant rice producing method, the apparatus comprising: a supply module for supplying a container in which a predetermined ingredient is contained； a cooking module which has a predetermined space therein so as to enable a palette to pass therethrough, and which maintains a predetermined pressure and temperature atmosphere so as to cook ingredients； and a conveying module for moving the palette in the cooking module.
