The present invention relates to a method for staining human keratin fibers, comprising applying a coloring composition by means of a container comprising a removable applicator comprising a permeable material through which the composition can pass； the composition being applied by contacting the applicator on the fibers, dry or wet； said composition comprising at least one aqueous dispersion of particles of hydrophobic acrylic-hybrid film-forming polymer, at least one linear block silicone copolymer and at least one pigment. The method according to the invention makes it possible to obtain a colored, shampoo-free or washable coating, leaving the individualized treated fibers with an improved cosmetic feel； the fibers treated being the hair (roots, legs)； hair (beard, mustache)； eyelashes, eyebrows.
