PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stent delivery system capable of favorably preventing a balloon from suffering damage when the balloon carries a stent, and also capable of preventing the stent from coming off the balloon during the delivery of the stent.SOLUTION: A stent delivery system 10 comprises: a balloon catheter 100 comprising a long flexible shaft 110 and a balloon 120 provided at the distal end of the shaft and configured to be expandable with infusion of a fluid and a stent 200 carried around an outer surface of the balloon and configured to be expansibly deformable with the expansion of the balloon.
