Required is the patent of a device and method for training animals, which pertains to the technical field of learning, modelling and exploring abilities for studying the animal behaviour. Physically, the invention includes several stands and bridges which measures and arrangement may be adapted to different configurations and species of animal. Several tests may be applied to measure different behaviours, mainly, impulsivity and attention in animals although this device and methods were preferably designed for scientific researches, its use may be extended to further purposes of the recreational or training type. The main advantages of the present invention have a decisive impact over the solution of practical and theoretical problems. Pointing out: the training time needed by the animal to learn its behaviour tasks is substantially shorter than that of the methods currently available on the market, thus allowing the developing periods of the animal to be studied, which has been impo ssible up to now. A further problem to be solved is that the same device may be useful for assessing different types of behaviours by only switching the configuration of some of the components thereof and the type of stimuli to which the animal may learn to respond.Se solicita la patente de un aparato y método para el entrenamiento de animales enmarcado en el campo técnico del aprendizaje, moldeamiento y exploración de habilidades para el estudio de la conducta en animales. Físicamente consta de varios pedestales y puentes cuyas medidas y disposición de los componentes se pueden adaptar a diferentes configuraciones y especies de animales. Se pueden aplicar varias pruebas para medir diversas conductas, particularmente, impulsividad y atención en los animales aunque este dispositivo y los métodos fueron diseñados de manera preferente para investigación científica, su uso se puede extender para otros objetivos como pueden ser de tipo recreativo o de adiestramiento.
