PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vine removal device which enables a user to easily and safety remove a vine grown to a high location of an electric pole branch line by conducting operation from the ground without increasing a weight of the entire device.SOLUTION: A vine removal device includes: a removal device body 2 and an insulation rod 50 supporting the removal device body. The removal device body includes: a base part 3 and a sleeve part 30 which protrudes from a lower surface of the base part, has a hollow part 30A communicating with a fitting part 10, and has an opening part 35 communicating with an open part.
