This invention relates to a method of making a medicinal composition containing venlafaxime pellets, comprising: mixing a therapeutically effective amount of venlafaxime with about 2% to 10% w/w hydroxymethyl propyl cellulose and 55% to 63% w/w microcrystal cellulose to form a mixture； adding into the mixture about 55% to 75% v/w mixed solution consisting of moisturizing and lubricating compound and alcohol to form a medicine-containing clot, wherein the compound accounts for 1% to 20% v/v of the mixture solution； and fabricating the medicine-containing clot into pellets.
