The device includes a water-collecting container extending along the intended desired area to be watered. Internally in the container, there is a transverse double partition wall, which extends from the base portion of the container up to at least half the effective height of the container. Along the outside of the container, a liquid-sucking wick extends that is connected to the internal liquid-receiving spaces of the container at a mutual distance from each other, as seen along the length extension of the container.
