PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an incense stick easily ignitable when being ignited from the lower part of an ignition nozzle, in spite of its simple structure, and in which combustion progresses in a form where the circumference of an inner wall is covered with the outer peripheral face since it has almost a cylindrical shape and it is combusted in such a manner that force of fire spreads from the inner wall, thus smoldering can be efficiently performed, and its smoking can be efficiently diffused.SOLUTION: An incense stick is provided with: a cylindrical ignition nozzle whose diameter is reduced toward the upper part and a pedestal part holding the ignition nozzle, the ignition nozzle and the pedestal part are formed of a combustible incense stick stock, further, the end part opening at the upper part of the ignition nozzle is opened, and further, the pedestal part has a belt shape.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】簡易な構造であるにも関わらず、着火ノズルの下方から着火すると容易に着火可能であり、また、略円筒形で、火勢が内壁から広がって燃えることで外周面で周囲を覆われた形で燃焼が進み、燻り燃焼を効率よく行わせることができ、線香の燻煙を効率良く拡散させることができる線香を提供することにある。【解決手段】上方に向かって縮径する円筒状の着火ノズルと、着火ノズルを保持する台座部とを備え、着火ノズル及び台座部が燃焼可能な線香素材で形成され、また、着火ノズルの上方の端部開口が開放されて、さらに、台座部が帯状であることを特徴とする。【選択図】図1
