A pharmaceutical composition comprising a squalene epoxidase inhibitor in combination or in admixture with a leucyl tRNA synthetase inhibitor, in admixture with at least one pharmaceutically acceptable diluent or carrier. The composition according to claim 1, comprising terbinafine in free or salt form, in combination or in a mixture with a compound of formula II, where R is hydroxy, phenyl, vinyl or thiophen-3-yl, R is hydrogen or alkyl containing from 1 to 4 carbon atoms and R represents hydrogen, a halogen atomic number from 9 to 35, alkyl containing from 1 to 4 carbon atoms, an alkoxy group containing from 1 to 4 carbon atoms, or a cyano group, in free form or in salt form, if such forms exist. 3. The composition according to claim 1, comprising terbinafine in free or salt form, in combination or in a mixture with a compound of formula IIa where R is halogen with atomic number from 9 to 35, alkyl containing from 1 to 4 carbon atoms, alkoxy group containing from 1 up to 4 carbon atoms, or a cyano group, in free form or in salt form, if such forms exist. 4. A composition according to any one of claims 1 to 3, comprising terbinafine in free or salt form, in combination or in admixture with compound AN2690.5. A method for treating diseases involving a fungal infection (or presumably a fungal infection), or a method for immunomodulating or suppressing immunity in a condition in which colonization of the fungi (or colonization of the fungi is involved), such as onychomycosis, or in cases of fungal resistance in a patient suffering from from the specified condition or included in the risk group of such an infection or condition, and the specified method of closing1.
