PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image processing apparatus which can realize more accurate and rapid segmentation than before.SOLUTION: A medical image processing apparatus includes a registration unit and a boundary identification unit. The registration unit executes registration using first image data showing a prescribed area including a plurality of anatomical features of a subject at a first time, and second image data showing a prescribed area at a second time different from the first time to acquire registration data.
