PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a needle-shaped body with flexibility devised to solve conventional problems, applying low load to a living body and retaining the fine shape of the needle-shaped body after being inserted into the skin.SOLUTION: This needle-shaped body includes a projection part having a needle-like shape, and a support base plate for supporting the projection part. A needle-shaped body material for use in the projection part is defined as a needle-shaped body including at least chitosan and glyoxylic acid.
