PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray CT apparatus that facilitates the confirmation of infrared emission intensity affecting the reliability of communication.SOLUTION: The X-ray CT apparatus includes: an X-ray source for applying X-rays to a subject an X-ray detector disposed oppositely to the X-ray source for detecting the X-rays transmitted through the subject a rotary disk that rotates around the subject while carrying the X-ray source and the X-ray detector a stationary unit supporting the rotary disk an infrared communication device for performing data communication between the rotary disk and the stationary unit an image reconfiguration unit for reconfiguring a tomogram of the subject based on the amount of transmitted X-rays detected by the X-ray detector and an image display device for displaying the tomogram reconfigured by the image reconfiguration unit.
