PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a disposable diaper capable of being comfortably worn by adequately preventing a bleed-through and a positional deviation as well as preventing the occurrence of an itching sensation and a tightening trace when the disposable diaper is worn.SOLUTION: The gathering member for a disposable diaper comprises an opened fiber material that is composed of opened tow and an elastic member that is directly or indirectly fixed to the opened fiber material and expands/contracts in one direction with the opened fiber material.
