Thepresent invention relates to a novel family of tubulin inhibitors, morespecifically thepresent invention is directed to a new type of tumor-targeted drugcombretastatin A4derivatives. The present invention is also directed to the preparation methodsof thepresent compounds, the pharmaceutical compositions comprising said compoundsand their uses in the treatment of tumors. More particularly, the presentinventionrelates to a compound of the following formula I, or a phosphate ester, asulfonate ester,a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, or a solvate thereof.(see formula I)
