A syringe barrel (15) is provided with: a barrel body (12) having a barrel front end (20)； and a cap (14) removably mounted to the barrel front end (20). The cap (14) has: an inner cap (34) consisting of an elastic material； and an outer cap (36) consisting of a material having higher hardness than the inner cap (34). The cylindrical wall (44) of the inner cap (34) is held in a compressed state between the outer peripheral surface (20a) of the barrel front end (20) and the inner peripheral surface (37) of the outer cap (36).
