Forced circulation of the air is triggered in the conditioning circuit and through the air filter using the pulser, if the driver of the vehicle actuates a first air conditioning command (24), and forced circulation of the air is also triggered, in a closed circuit, in the conditioning circuit, for a predefined minimum duration (tmax) and at a higher flow rate than during the actuation of the first conditioning command (24), if the driver of the vehicle actuates a second command (19) different from the first command (24).
