Disclosed is a method comprising the steps of acquiring x-ray tomosynthesis image data representative of projection images (Tp) taken at different angles of an origin of imaging x-rays relative to a patients' breast; reconstructing from at least a subset of the acquired x-ray tomosynthesis data reconstructed tomosynthesis image data representative of slice images (Tr), wherein the slice images (Tr) correspond to images of slices of the breast that have selected orientations and thicknesses; acquiring x-ray mammography image data representative of a projection mammography image (Mp) of the patients' breast; displaying at least the projection mammography image (Mp); including at the displayed projection mammography image (Mp) at least one non-numeric indication of associated slice images (Tr) that have generated computer-aided detection (CAD) symbols indicative of suspected abnormalities as a result of computer analysis thereof.
