The present invention relates to a method to manufacture a spunbonded high loft nonwoven web including crimped multicomponent fiber. The method includes: a step of continuously spinning fibers； a step of making the fibers face a spin-belt by deflectors and/or air streams； a step of arranging the fibers on the spin-belt； and a step of forming a preconsolidated web by preconsolidating the fibers by using at least one preconsolidation roller after the arrangement step. The first component of the fibers includes a PP homopolymer, the second component of the fibers includes a PP/PE copolymer, and the preconsolidation rollers are operated by linear contact force smaller than 5 N/mm and/or at a temperature lower than 110C.
