PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bath apparatus capable of narrowing an apparatus arrangement space and being used comfortably by a wide range of bathers (for example, care receivers and healthy persons included).SOLUTION: A bath apparatus 1 is attached to a bathtub 2. The bath apparatus 1 includes: a base part 10 a chair attachment part 11 arranged attachably/detachably with a chair part movement mechanisms 12, 13 arranged on the base part 10 and capable of moving the chair attachment part 11 with respect to the base part 10. By moving the chair part attached to the chair attachment part 11 by movement mechanisms 12, 13, the chair part can be inserted into the bathtub 2.
