PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent ground-crawling pest insects from entering a plant pot and ground surface, creeping up, eating planted vegetables, flowers, trees, etc., and harming their growth, by storing liquid other than water in a liquid reservoir installed in the body part.SOLUTION: The insect repellent device includes: a cylindrical body part 2 and a dish-shaped lid body 3 that is fitted to the body part 2 by covering the body part 2 from above and that has an opening part 2b formed in the center. Between the outer periphery of the body part 2 and the inner periphery of the outer wall, there is formed a gutter-like liquid reservoir 2c in which a liquid L other than water is stored.
