A water-absorbent sheet structure comprises a structure in which an absorbent layer comprising a water-absorbent resin and an adhesive is sandwiched with nonwoven fabrics from an upper side and a lower side of the absorbent layer, wherein the water-absorbent resin is contained in an amount of from 100 to 1,000 g/m 2 , and wherein a mass-average particle size of the water-absorbent resin is from 50 to 800 µm, and wherein a particle size rate index of the water-absorbent resin is 0.12 s/µm or less, and wherein the water-absorbent sheet structure has a peeling strength of from 0.05 to 3.0 N/7 cm. The water-absorbent sheet structure according to the present invention exhibits some effects that a water-absorbent sheet structure has excellent shape retaining ability even when the structure is thin, so that the water-absorbent sheet structure does not undergo deformation of the form before liquid absorption or after the absorption, and is capable of sufficiently exhibiting absorbent properties such as liquid permeability, a small amount of liquid re-wet, and a small liquid slope leakage.흡수성 수지 및 접착제를 함유하여 이루어지는 흡수층이, 부직포에 의해 당해 흡수층의 상방 및 하방으로부터 협지된 구조를 갖는 흡수 시트 구성체로서, 당해 흡수성 수지의 함유량이 100 ～ 1000 g/㎡, 당해 흡수성 수지의 질량 평균 입경이 50 ～ 800 ㎛, 또한 당해 흡수성 수지의 입경 속도 지수가 0.12 초/㎛ 이하, 흡수 시트 구성체의 박리 강도가 0.05 ～ 3.0 N/7 ㎝ 인 흡수 시트 구성체. 본 발명에 관련된 흡수 시트 구성체는, 박형이어도 형태 유지성이 양호하기 때문에, 액체 흡수 전이나 흡수 후에 형태 붕괴를 일으키지 않고, 게다가 액체 침투성, 적은 액체 역복귀량, 경사시의 적은 액 누출 등의 흡수 능력을 충분히 발휘할 수 있다는 우수한 효과를 발휘한다.
