PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemical volatilizing apparatus which can regulate to smoothly lift a volatilizing element and which can stably hold the element at a predetermined lifting height during using and to provide the chemical volatilizing apparatus in which the contained chemical is hardly overflowed even when a container is tilted down in a lifted state. SOLUTION: The chemical volatilizing apparatus comprises the volatilizing element for sucking and volatilizing a chemical liquid, and the drug container having an insertion port for holding the standing state of the element. The element which can hold itself in the standing state even after the drug is sucked is formed. The element is constituted so that the element is held in the predetermined lifting height by bringing the outer peripheral surface of the element into contact with the periphery of the insertion port of the container in the state in which the element is inserted into the port in a freely lifting manner.
