PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine and method facilitating sanitary management, hardly causing the problem that powder is inhibited from adhering to a food product by air flow produced by rotation of a rotation body, and enabling keeping a working environment around the machine excellent owing to that a box body is hardly filled with powder.SOLUTION: Powder is supplied from a powder supply mechanism to an upper surface of at least one flat rotary plate rotatably provided on a lateral of a conveyor conveying a food product, and the powder is splashed to the food product by rotation of the rotary plate so as to adhere the powder to the surface of the food product.
