PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spacing device in a hydroponic culture, capable of obtaining an optional spacing width by a simple device. SOLUTION: This spacing device is a hydroponic culture is provided by arranging plural conveying devices 1, 2, 3 linked in series and loading plural culturing bars 10 on the conveying devices. Driving parts 12, 13, 14 control the conveying speed of each of the conveying device with controlling signals sent from a controlling device 11. When the conveying speed of the second conveying device 2 is made higher than that of the first conveying device 1, the spacing interval between the culturing bars is extended in accordance with the difference of their speeds on transferring the bars from the first conveying device 1 to the second conveying device 2. The controlling device 11 can set the spacing intervals between the culturing bars always at a necessary minimum from the sowing to culturing of the crops by controlling the conveying speeds of the conveying devices 1, 2, 3 in accordance with the growth of the crops and can save the idleness of a cultivating area.
