A hearing protection device includes a first ear protector comprising at least a first sound attenuation body, a first receiver, and a first primary microphone, the first sound attenuation body comprising a cup portion providing a noise dampening space, the cup portion having a peripheral part comprising a forward facing part, a rearward facing part, an upper part and a lower part, the cup portion comprising: an outer surface facing an ambient space； an inner cup portion accommodating the first receiver； a primary sound reception area located away from the forward facing part and the rearward facing part； and a first sound reflector configured to reflect and direct sound waves towards the primary sound reception area, where the first sound reflector is positioned in an area on the outer surface between the primary sound reception area and the peripheral part of the cup portion.
