A fill adapter for delivery of a medical liquid to a container has a body with a distal end, a proximal end, and a central bore extending between the distal end and the proximal end along a longitudinal axis. The central bore has an angled portion at the proximal end of the body such that a diameter of the central portion increases at the angled portion in a direction from the distal end to the proximal end. The fill adapter further has a flow controller disposed within the central bore at a distal end of the angled portion such that a gap is formed between an outer surface of the flow controller and an inner surface of the central bore.
