The bipolar electrode assembly may include an active electrode portion coupled to an active path of the bipolar endoscopic needle knife, a return electrode portion coupled to a return path of the bipolar endoscopic needle knife, and an insulating electrode portion configured to insulate the active electrode portion from the return electrode portion.
