A post-operative assistive sitting device configured to prevent pressure being applied to a post-operative patients recovery area thereby allowing a patient to sit and conduct normal daily activities after a medical procedure. The post-operative assistive sitting device includes a chair that defines an opening and a series of cushions and paddings surrounding the opening to alleviate the pressure and discomfort from the recovery area without disturbing the buttocks as the patient sits or lies in a natural position.
