Disclosed is a liquid container for gas humidification, which comprises a first storage chamber containing a bottom and a second storage chamber comprising a top wall, a bottom wall and a side wall connected between the top wall and the bottom wall, the second storage chamber being provided with at least one opening which is above the bottom of the first storage chamber, thereby enabling the liquid in the second storage chamber to flow into the first storage chamber in a unidirectional way.
