PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing reel that prevents detachment of a connection part for interlocking a clutch mechanism with a turning mechanism of a fishing line guide body, even if attempted to turn a clutch from an ON state to an OFF state, when the fishing line guide body falls into a fixed state that it cannot be turned, without enlarging the reel.SOLUTION: A fishing reel of the present invention is configured such that a clutch mechanism 20 is connected with a level wind device 50 by connection parts 25b, 59b, and a fishing line guide body 60A is turned between a fishing line taking-up state and a fishing line-releasing state in conjunction with ON/OFF operation of the clutch mechanism 20 through the connection parts.
