PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for processing an eye-fundus image where the information on the C/D ratio or the like and the related eye-fundus image are accurately and quickly be confirmed.
SOLUTION: The eye-fundus image processing apparatus includes first C/D ratio acquirement means to define the disk and cup lines of the optic nerve disk and cup lines of a first eye-fundus image containing the optic nerve disk, and from these disk and cup lines, seek the first C/D ratio around 360° in the diameter direction, second C/D ratio acquirement means to define the disk and cup lines of the optic nerve disk and cup lines of a second eye-fundus image containing the optic nerve disk, and from these disk and cup lines, seek the second C/D ratio around 360° in the diameter direction, and display control means to display at least one of these first and second eye-fundus images on a monitor, together with the C/D ratio corresponding to the eye-fundus image shown graphically, on the same screen.
