The present invention relates to a compound having the following formula (I) as well as a method for preparing such a compound, a cosmetic or pharmaceutical composition containing such a compound, and the use thereof as a depigmenting, lightening, bleaching or whitening agent and for treating pigmentation disorders, notably by topical application on the skin.La presente invencion se refiere a un compuesto que tiene la siguiente formula I: (ver fórmula) asi como tambien a un metodo para preparar tal compuesto, una composicion cosmetica o farmaceutica que contiene tal compuesto, y el uso del mismo como un agente despigmentante, aclarante, decolorante o blanqueador y para tratar trastornos de pigmentacion, notablemente por aplicacion topica sobre la piel.
