The present invention relates to a type of fibre fabric comprising copper, wherein the copper has been embedded into the fibre of the fabric during a spinning process. Preferably the copper is copper powder and/or is electrolytic copper, and the fibre is selected from at least one of nylon, polyester or spandex. Copper incorporated into the yarn during the spinning process means it remains within the fabric after multiple washes, giving the fabric good antibacterial and deodorant properties.
