To provide a method for supoprting and installing trees and a supoprting and installing device not in large scale unlike a laying method or a supoprting and installing device for supoprting and installing a tall tree mainly having a tree height of not less than 3 m, more inexpensive in cost than the method or the device, having more stable supporting strength than that in the conventional method using two-legged log supports when used specifically for supoprting and installing street trees and also having the same level of cost or more inexpensive cost as or than that in the method using such two-legged supports.
SOLUTION: The method for supoprting and installing trees includes: spreading a placing sheet ON the ground attaching a pedestal for mounting a root ball for a tree ON the laying sheet mounting the root ball ON the pedestal mounting the root ball-pressing sheet ON the top surface of the root ball and fixing the root ball-pressing sheet via a root ball-pressing sheet fixing means for laying.
