The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for treating pain, wherein the pharmaceutical composition includes duloxetine or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of the same as an active ingredient. Specifically, the duloxetine controls a Kv4.3 channel. The duloxetine, which has been developed as an antidepressant, has been confirmed to concentration-dependently control the Kv4.3 channel associated to the signal transmission of human neuropathic pain.
